Belfast High's Drama Department humbly welcomes you to the blogger/blog page of Calico. Belfast's one act play competition piece this year. Many minds came together to construct this play, bringing it to it's fullest, even now the script is still a work in progress.
This year we are happily surrounded by a multitude of youngsters with an exuberant amount of talent. Unfortunately I cannot provide you with a cast list, as this is the internet, and I do not wish any of my actors any ill in their future; due to their name appearing on this page. You'll have to attend the show this year to find out who is participating.
Also, keep visiting this page, as updates flow in as quickly as I can get them posted, expect videos of set construction, and our very own promotional trailer.
Mr.Lawson, and Mr.Gaul are directing this year's one act, and I am participating as a junior director, if that makes any sense. I'm humbled to be allotted such a position, and I'm also humbled that the actors and techs have accepted me. Over all, I think this year will be one for the history books, but that's just my view of it, find out for yourself. A performance schedule will be posted soon-ish.
